MSUMUN 2008 Secretariat

The MSUMUN Secretariat is selected from students who apply shortly after the conference each year. Each Secretariat member has specific tasks, but all also work together to create a fun, educational, and successful event. Although not required, Secretariat members often participate in collegiate level Model United Nations, giving them a unique perspective on creating a conference by delegates, for delegates.

Alexander Plum Secretary General:
Alexander Plum is the overseer of the conference, supervising the ongoing project and each member of the Secretariat.



Thomas Caron Deputy Secretary-General
Thomas Caron assists the Secretary-General in the oversight and supervision of the Conference. The Deputy Secretary-General fills in for the Secretary-General in his absence and is vital for conference preparation.



Elizabeth Wise Chargée d'Affaires
Elizabeth Wise works on publicizing the conference, coordinating the registration process. She also acts as the liaison between the Secretariat and MSUMUN participant schools.


Miles Greengard Chief of Staff
Miles Greengard oversees the conference's staff and committee affairs, including training, evaluation, and supervision before, during, and after the conference. He also coordinates committee activities.



Kimberly Bos Undersecretary-General of Simulation
Kimberly Bos establishes the conference’s committee structure, selects committee staff with the help of the Secretariat, and deals with committee activities at the conference.


Matthew Levitt Undersecretary-General of Finance
Matthew Levitt, coordinates fundraising efforts and maintains the organization’s budget and financial records.




Kevin Shrestha Undersecretary-General of Technology
Kevin Shrestha maintains the organization’s webpage, coordinates the audio-visual systems for the conference, and runs the delegate resource room.
