Crisis Committees

MSUMUN is proud to offer a wide array of Crisis Committees this year for delegates to explore! This year delegates can strike gold in the Klondike Gold Rush of 1896 while they desperately try to keep a boomtown afloat. In the 1959 committee, delegates will find that ensuring the seamless unification of two nations of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds will be no easy task. Do you enjoy TikToks and popular online videos then you might enjoy the TikTok Board of Directors committee. Delegates will explore and take head-on the various legal and logistical challenges faced by ByteDance as it attempts to keep TikTok running and relevant. Hungry for an uprising? So was the citizenry of 1959 Hungary. Delegates in the Hungarian Revolution committee will fight against the authoritarian rule of the government of the Hungarian People's Republic and the policies caused by the government's subordination to the Soviet Union.
